Arthritis Awareness

Arthritis is actually a general term that covers over 200 different conditions with the two most common types being Rheumatoid/Autoimmune Arthritis and Osteoarthritis. In the UK, around 10 million people have arthritis. It affects people of all ages, including children causing pain and inflammation in the joints.

Tenscare Pain Relief units offer powerful relief when treating the pain associated with Arthritis. TENS sends soothing pulses via TENS electrodes through the skin and along the nerve fibres. The pulses suppress the arthritis pain signals to the brain and encourage the body to release natural painkillers (called endorphins), and block pain signals to the brain.

In addition to our Pain Relief units we have the iGlove, iSock and Kneestim that are used in conjunction with any TENS product. They allow the stimulation of the TENS unit to pass throughout the hands, feet, back and knees to improve blood flow, mobility while providing pain relief throughout.
